I wanted to share a small piece I was fairly happy with. It’s simple, and I hope I did it justice. I have only been engraving since April. I know and understand the lovely simplicity that lettering is, especially Roman letters. This piece was for an Urn, for my buddy. Just a few days ago, I received my first scope and am looking forward to cutting with it. These forums have helped me tremendously, I haven’t taken any classes, and haven’t gotten any hands on help. So a lot of reading and a handful of books. So thank you to everyone who has put the info out. I am a tattooer of 18+ years by trade, and have always wanted to get into engraving, and I’m very happy I made the jump.
Thank you all for looking.

Take care.

It is a nice piece of work. Neatly cut and I like the slanted roman font. The bench may be scary because it is too clean, but take a closer look at the top shelf of the cabinet. :cool:Very cool.
