For all the tools I've made over the years (because I could) I had never done a chisel. Finally got to doing just that: bought the stock and had Jake the Blacksmith shape the point that goes into the handle, and anneal it. I then did the sanding and engraving, turned the handle to my favorite shape, and engraved the ferrule. It was then sent out to Dana Mazzaglia of Mazzaglia Tools to harden. It came back today, so I finish sharpened it and mounted it in the handle (yes, I know it's a bit crooked...) and this chisel is SWEET!!!!!!
