Anybody recognize these hammers.

Hi all.
Years back I acquired a lot of jewellery tools. There were other bits and bobs in the pile: clay tools, some sewing stuff, some watch tools.

So I’ve had these hammers for a while. The head appears to be aluminum with some sort of fill in it. I think the big one is lead. The little one I think has wood in it, but the surface is super waxy. I dug in a bit and ... maybe wood?
I thought I would ask here if anybody recognized them, before I wreck it.

Not planishing, as they would not do much to displace metal... but the aluminum cup puzzles me. Tho softer than most things still a marring edge on the hammer, were it to be used for jewellery.. I thought maybe a specialty chasing hammer?

Ya. Could be. They look commercially made... but maybe I just think that CO’s all my handles are jenky

I have seen concave hammer faces before the idea was it keeps the tool from sliding off the hammer when striking.MTC YMMV
