Hey Shawn, I did some door jams on a custom hand built car once about 20 yrs ago. they were hard brass and about the same width as your plates and maybe longer.I had to laugh at your shirt comment.I think they will look great when they are done and installed,be sure to take some quality photos of the finished project:thumbs up::thumbs up::thumbs up:.
