In my attempt to help out all the new firearms engravers and some of ghe older ones, I have started to upload firearms assembly and disassembly videos onto youtube. So far I have 1911 Series 80, a Uberti, Colt Anaconda, Colt King Cobra, and a Henry Rifle. Attempting to add a couple per week. If you get the chance, please subscribe to my list and like the videos. It will help the show up closer to the top of searches.

Just added the Henry Rifle Assembly. Colt King Cobra Assembly will go up Tuesday or Wednesday (as soon as I finish the engraving). I will probably do a Winchester 1873 or a Marlin Safety from the 1890s next.

Gerry thanks you for sharing your knowledge with us, unfortunately here the only way I would use this is if I make my own guns, which bring me to the question, do you know where I'd be able to get my hands on a 1873 Winchester plans to build from scratch, it will be a non firing replica, but is something I have been wanting to do for a long time, but can not get any places to buy the blueprints from, any ideas?

Richard.

Thank you! I have a 1911 in pieces on the bench right now, and while I think I might be able to get it back together without have "spare parts", its been a few years since the last time I put one together.
