True banknote engraving is quit different than "bulino" style. Take a look at stamps and portraits on bills or old wood cut s used in printing. They used very different tools that created the contours of the face. I believe they were a kind of roller/engraver. I have never seen one much to my dismay. I wish some of the tool collectors would posy them- Fred
