It,s been a few years since I carved a Berty, just finished this one, 24 kt. inlay eye..

cool stuff, as usual. how many hobos do you think you may have done? over the years? just curious. i'd guess more than just a few.

Monk, about 1,000 over the last 20 years..I used to carve 50 to 60 hours a week, now just about 10 hours a week.

lordy, lordy! after that many, it's a wonder that your eyes still function. little wonder that your work is so superior, after having done that many.

Sam, still using the stipple tool you made me when I took your engraving class..It does a good job of needing a shave look like on this subject..

That's a really good texture on the beard. Looks like that tool is still working really well for you!
