Jimzim may know if anybody would, he is in Ontario. If you get the chance drive 5 hours south to the shop and try some of my tools out. Cut on some metal here and it may help you determine what to purchase from the suppliers. It may keep you from buying tools that you do not need.
Hi Roki,
Personally I do a lot of cross border shopping. The one place in Canada that has a lot of what
is needed is www.gessweincanada.com They have the stuff you need to get started
and advanced items also.
My shop is fairly complete, so of course you can come down and try this stuff out.
Let me know in advance when you want to drop by.
Hi Robert,
Not sure where you're located but I'm in Beaverton, ON.
I agree with Jim that Gesswein is likely your best bet.. there's also Lacy's downtown TO on 55 Queen st. at Yonge that has a nice showroom to browse. lacytools.ca
I'll also extend an invite if my shop is any closer..
Cheers,
Dave www.truehand.com
I will surley look into the source, and thankyou for the invites, greatly appreciated, I am in Edmonton Alberta, and would more then welcome any visitors.
Since Stullers closed in downtown Vancouver i go to Habsons and Lacy West, which is great because they price their equipment by the us exchange rate. Lacy west i mean.
I visited Lacy and Co. in Toronto today;55 Queen West,on the South side, downstairs. http://www.lacytools.ca/catalog/
