The Borden and Riley #90 tracing paper in her list of supplies is made to accept ink, inkjet printing, and laserjet printing. It is "translucent" and one of the clearest tracing papers I have seen. It is a good thickness for running through a copier. They have a thinner one claiming similar uses, but I have not tried it.

I'm thinking of buying that. the one I can get in Australia is technically slightly over A4. has anyone tried printing with it? why was it recommended by you sir? would you be printing on it then heat transferring? I'm guessing the ink wouldn't rub off onto damar varnish the way it does on baking paper.

Hi Alan, same question as Dani. Have tried an acetone transfer with that paper?
