Marty.
I'm going to try that geometry out today. I'm using a 90° graver with a 20° lift now. and a 55° face.
Sometimes I put a tiny flat on the bottom with a ceramic wheel.

Jere
I used my dual angle fixture to do the face at 55. Then just used the easy graver grs fixture a 105 for the slight heels

Jere just set your dual angle fixture, i assume you have one, to a 15 degree lift and a 42.5 rotation the just kissy poo each side of the 90 to your stone to create the heel as you like it.
Then just send me the money you were going to spend on that new fandangled fixture :tiphat:

Thanks Jere Have you tried that graver geometry yet. It seems to work for the bulino type cuts but most likely go all to hell in a hand basket for the scroll style depths

I prefer not to put strange objects into my coffee or my tea... I drink both, the one in the morning, the other during the day.

You don't know where they might've been and they might alter the taste in some detrimental way...

B.

ok, i might not use a pair of grips for stirring my tea, but who among us hasn't used a screwdriver or some such?

Being a machinist my 6" pocket rule is always handy..... what does not kill you makes you stronger!
