Colt Cylinder scene engravings

Here is a link to a page for a book on Colt Cylinder scenes, with a pdf on the engraving rolled on to the Colt Root revolver. It has some close-ups of the scene, and observations of the author on the methods/circumstances Ormsby used to create the original. Probably been know to Colt collectors for years, but interesting nonetheless.

I have that book and found it very informative. It explains, among other things, how the roll dies were made and used on percussion Colt cylinders.
