Good evening to all, mdengraver Just posted a video of Ken C. Hunt drawing open scrolls and it was the first time I saw a few of these elements. Been meaning to ask if this was a certain style or era anyone is familiar with. Not really important just wondering. Thanks and hope everyone is well and their projects are going well. Don’t think this is any specific style, looks more like someone not quite sure what they are doing or learning.. nothing wrong with that, but not sure if something I would use for inspiration to learn scrollwork :)

Looks either laser or casted, or casted from a laser engraving.

Much appreciated gentleman, its a keychain Iv had for many years and before stumbling into engraving and scrollwork had never really given any thought as to its aesthetic.

It’s probably engraved , then stamped. To my eye the cross hatching looks raised, which would be the tell... the master would be hand engraved.
Working on something just like this right now
