Hope everyone has been having a good holiday so far. It's been a while since I've posted anything so I figured it's about time I sent along a scene I just finished on an 1876 Winchester. The gun will have 5 scenes in total an sort of tells a hunt story. Hopefully I will have it done it time for our guild show in Feb.

Marty,
I hope you have it done for the show also so we can "drool" on it. I'm also hoping you have time to cast some study plates for us "wan-a-be's"
Truly great work!

I will have the rifle with me in vegas in whatever finished or semi done condition it ends up in. At best i hope to have the gun all finished and assembled but in the white as i don’t think there will be enough time to blue and whatever. I did make a mold of the dust cover when i did it so should at least have some castings of that

the combination of detail, highlight/shadow, and perspective in these pieces are just unbelievable.

Sam, you are right. The cell phone cameras are pretty darn good and very convenient. I quickly took these pictures just with natural reflective light and hand held. Now using your light tent would give a much more even light and exposure. Might try it out just for jollies when you take your photos in vegas. I am impresse with the sharpness of the cell phone cameras. They wont replace a real good digital camera but they are a convenient alternative

Sam, as soon as I get all the stuff set up for MY tent I'll be able to see what you think. Holidays, lombar punctures and the like are making me lay down alot. I think you'll like this deal. wow on fancy's cell shots.
