I do not know if he is extant but if he is he is he would be in his late 80s. He was still active as late as 2014.
Bill had Bachelor's and Masters degrees in psychology but in 1976 he became a full time engraver. At that time he was in McAllen, Texas.
Bill Johns was featured on pages 84-86 of my first book American Engravers (1980).
