Hi Abigail,
Of course all you yanks are invited get out rain if the big storm hits. I think we have enough
beds. Zurich being the white bean capital of the whole earth, we of course will serve beans
and smoked pork chops. We've had water problems up here to but we usually just send out
the snow plows (plough). We have a handy fresh water ocean called lake Huron to push it into.

Your killing me with words like "New BIGGER Shop". Sound like it's going to have to have
a three page spread in the homes and garden section of "The Engraver". I like the way
you got a new gym for yourself. Tell Sam I go for it to, if I could add another 1000 square feet
for a new engine lathe. Congratulations you two.

Thanks Jim!...Um...I've never been called a "Yank" before. LOL That is an oxymoron I think...."Louisiana Yank". :p
Hmmmm

Yup...a NEW BIGGER SHOP. He will be happy. His current shop (we call it a studio because its inside and it sounds ritzy :D ) is in a very small bedroom...with carpet! Yuck. The new one won't be 1000 square feet, but will be a nice improvement. He is very excited. I'm sure he is already thinking of new engraving "toys" to fill it up with.

The move starts MONDAY! Woo Hoo

Hi Abigail,
About the Yankee thing. I would suppose it would depend what country
your standing in. My mother in law (Canadian) thinks all Americans have
cute quaint accents, and you're all yanks. Go figure.

Sam's seems bigger than life, so him having only one bedroom is hard to
figure out. I'd love to have his opportunity to design a whole new shop.
Especially if its all in one place. Mine has one bedroom , the basement,
the, garage, and two heated room in the back of the garage.

One big room would be a God send, and would cut down on all the walking around I do. Not to mention freezing in winter when the garage isn't heated. The garage is where I do casting, heavy machining.

I offering to help you move at least in spirit. I hope it goes smoothly.

Any sign of the hats Yet

Hi Abigail,
Hope your move is about done. Any thought on the Cafe hats? I'd sure like to be wearing one
in Reno this year. I don't want to rush you, ya know. I'd really like one.

This is just a thought on the light blue and cream color...... When I sit down to engrave I take my ball cap off then put on my optivisor. After engraving I remove my optivisor and pick up my hat with dirty blackened graver hands/fingers. I was thinking that maybe a navy blue (dark color) cap would be a better idea. Or am I just a helpless man slob?

Just a thought,
Dennis
