Engraving costs today?

Hello from Oklahoma! About 30 years ago a close friend and I sent our Colt Woodsman Match Target 22's to former Colt Custom Shop engraver Ken Hurst. He did about 75% coverage on both for $450 each. My friend has suffered a stroke and needs to sell his, and has come to me asking what it would cost to have the work done on one now. Can someone give me an idea of what a master engraver would charge to do a pistol like this now? The above cost did not include bluing, which Ken did not do at the time. Thanks!! Mark
