I have been practicing all the great advice and help I have received from several individuals and of course from some information I have read on this site and finally have some decent pictures to show of some of my work. I don't know what has been harder to figure out, the engraving or taking pictures. I will fess up and say that these pictures were taken by a very good photographer friend of mine. The bulino of the horse was my first attempt at line type bulino, it measures 1 1/4 inches tall, done on a GRS key tag. The dog was my second attempt. This time I tried the "picked out dots" the piece measures 1" tall again done on a GRS key tag. The final key tag was my first attempt at inlay, and with gold prices being what they are I used copper wire. The necklace was made so I could set a 3mm black diamond in the center. So to all of you that have helped me thanks for the encouragement, prodding, etc. I have several more items that I am working on, my husband is a knifemaker and is great about letting me engrave on his knives so later on I will post some photos of some of the knives. Thanks for looking
