Long time coming and just my first steps on a career with engraving. Will be completing with full coverage and be my first gun as well so trying to start strong. I am more focused on completed works as I’m feeling more confident with designs these days etc, but grateful that the cafe was kind enough to give a newbie the right push. Thank you to those with encouraging words as you don’t know the effect that you can have. -Matthew Evans

i really like the ratio of background/design. the contrast is rather perfect to my eye.

I like it a lot, but for me there is something odd with the background. Like, it is not even, some places it looks higher - is that the issue with the paint, or am I just wrong?

For me at least, hand work shouldn’t look like it was done on machinery imho.
