Am a big fan of the inlay ,design as well as perfect execution of Mr Francolini ..
But wondered where the side screws went on these pistols?
Anyone a idea??

Leonard Francolini is not only a world class engraver but has a long and close association with the Colt Firearms Company.
Colt made screw less versions of the SAA revolver for special presentations.
I expect this magnificent pistol was a special order for Leonard's wonderful engraving.

Mike Dubber and Weldon Lister have also modified SAA frames to remove the screw holes on the right side of the frame. Frank Hendricks and Roger Hendricks may also have done it in the past. I believe Weldon posted photos of the process recently.
