That doesn't make sense, Winston. Unless that machine comes with handpieces and accessories, the price seems high, especially since it's a discontinued model. The auction also says NOT IN STOCK.

Winstonklein,

Don't buy from that supplier! He's ripping people off. He doesn't even have units in stock. The model he's advertising is an older one. Hell, the new Gravermax SC is only $900! I think the Gravermach is only around $1100. If the unit had a couple of handpieces included, then it might be worth investigating. But, as far as I could tell, only the basic unit and foot pedal were listed. There is always someone out to get us! Anyway, keep looking you should be able to find a good used unit at a reasonable price. I have the old Gravermax and I love it. I've never seen the need to go up to the Gravermach. Although, I do use the Airtact exclusively with the Gravermax.

Winston: Airtact consumes a little more air, but I don't notice a difference in my air compressor performance. My small silent compressor can operate two GraverMachs with Airtacts without problems.

To convert a handpiece for Airtact use you change the knob. Everything else remains the same and changing the knob cannot make the handpiece louder.

Cheers / Sam
