For once in my life I didn't eat til I foundered, felt great, was able to sleep it off. But somehow it felt like I disgraced an American tradition. So next year or maybe this Christmas, I will not hesitate to reload the plate. Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving .

Fred, bless you for using the word "foundered."
Old English word I have not heard used since my days in the horse world.
Usually used to describe sick horses or boats in trouble on the rocks. :)
Thank you for the memory jogging grin on Thanksgiving.

The sick horses certainly applies here; no boats though. I've always loved studying English History. Maybe "foundering" slipped out of my subconscious. I hope it didn't bring up any unpleasant events in your racing past, John.

Hi Fred. Luckily none of my personal racing mounts foundered.
But it brought back vivid memories of my old English Language instructor, Mr. Sparks.
Many years ago. He also taught English History and writing.

Quote... Fred
Hi John, I hear they found Richard III in a car park. As I recall, he would have welcomed a horse that was foundering.

Yes Fred,
He was buried under the blacktop. of what became a parking lot.
And with no marker they paved over his grave hundreds of years later.
Remember " a horse, a horse, my kingdom for a horse."
