Found a good book. "ORMSBY.S Bank-note engraving"
The book is good. But it does not indicate what kind of steel to take on the plate. Whether or not heat treatment of the plates is necessary. What tools to use. The plate under the intaglio is divided in a mirror image. How can you do in a live image and then transfer it to a mirror. Thanks for any advice. There are engravers who have worked in the engraving and printing bureau, I know these, but I don’t want to contact them.
