It's not a joke and I applaud your efforts. It's definitely not ready to engrave yet though. First off the spirals aren't perfect and they need to be. Also, the scroll on the far right has a large area of black background because you've lost the body of the scroll in that area. It should be like the previous two scrolls. So back to the drawing board for more refinement.

Also, it would be better to upload your images to the cafe instead of hosting them offsite so people don't have to open a different browser window.

Thanks for advices Sam. its mean a lot when they came from you. The spirals you say they have to be perfect circle shape ? or it can be oval shape ?

as sam said, drawing is no joke. it is the foundation of all you will end up doing. this one, though not good, could be the first in a series of drawings that will launch your journey. don't be fooled with the computer garbage. the computer will save time, it will not do good, quality design. that is, unless you direct it to do so. the concept of good drawing skills has probably been worn out on this forum, and yet it's a must.

Hi Fatih

Some suggestions

Draw big at the beginning. This allows you to easily alter your drawings and refine them. Over time you will be able to draw smaller and smaller.

Learn to draw one good scroll with inside and outside leaves........then you can start adding another scroll and another and so on.

Start by drawing very lightly with your pencil. Put everything roughly in place but very, very lightly. Then start refining the scroll back bone. This is the most important part. As you go you can start getting darker with your pencil.........this is the way that you build up a drawing one step at a time.

Don't worry, we have all started just the same as you. It takes time and practice.

Cheers
Andrew

another trick: even a cheap, opaque projector can enlarge these the size of a wall. as andrew mentioned, big is better sometimes. these projectors can be found in most toy stores for less than 20 bucks. they're also handy to enlarge the work of others, to get a better idea of what certain cuts look like.

looks like you are on the right path just keep practicing! i can draw really well but drawing scroll is a whole different animal than most sketching. lots of rules and regulations that will keep things pleasing to the eye. good stuff and only comes with practice which you are already doing. im in the same boat and i have began picturing everything around me as a template and wondering how i would fit backbones on it. reminds me of when neo starts to "see the code" in the matrix lol
