I too have a Lindsey PC ... To for this type work I just bypass the PC and connect an airline from a foot control (on or off) directly to hand piece ... It is adjustable (at the regulator) ... Maybe not as convient as a Lindsey foot throttle but effective just the same. YMMV

Archie, alas I have no foot pedal. I went directly to the palm control. I just turn the idle speed up and let it run continuously. It does a pretty good job of punching down the wire. At this point it's not playing nice for either undercutting or displacing. I'm pretty sure I'm being too aggressive with both. I just have to remember that it's a graver, not a cold chisel.

The nice part is that the hand piece is fast. The bad part is that the hand piece is fast. Things go south in a hurry.
