I am a complete beginner and was lucky enough to find a fantastic and talented engraver living less than an hour away in Northern Virginia. J.J. warmly welcomed me into his home for a three-day one-on-one introduction to engraving. As a bonus, he has the full lineup of Lindsay equipment. If you are looking for one-on-one instruction on the east coast please give him your consideration.

I also greatly appreciate everyone on this forum and your willingness to share and answer questions. It is very welcoming to see such a community, as that is not always present in other hobbies and professions. I'm seeing some amazing work and great advice that is especially helpful to someone starting out.
