Hey folks, Bob here, thanks for having me. I've been tattooing and drawing for 20+ years and within the past few months I've started getting serious about engraving. I started with learning to draw scrolls from Sam Alfano's video and then picked up various books along the way.

I started with hammer and chisel engraving, and after getting to where I had some repeatability with it I picked up an Airgraver from Steve Lindsey.

I'm slowly getting used to the Airgraver set up, and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some simple tips to help me get more comfortable with it. It's definitely more challenging to control than hammer and chisel at the moment.

Thanks again, and much appreciated.

practice till you become ill. then continue practicing till you get tired of it. take a ten minute break and start all over again. no tip is going to familiarize you with the feel of the tool and how it performs in your hand. good luck and have at it !
