Iterative Drawing

I came across this very interesting video about drawing. The artist speaks about people who are analytical, but not intuitive and how they move towards a more fluid ability to draw. It's kind of long, but his main points about the iterative drawing are in the first half. All I could think about was "leaves" where he was drawing "faces."
