I have ever show you on this forum some pictures of this project on progress.
This engraving is made like a "masterpiece". It was my first chasing.
animals symbolize cities where I learned my job.
I have to show the piece on saturday for an "exam"
So could you say me what do you think about this engraving?

I can't offer you any advise. From what I see it is unique and absolutley beautiful. The animal work is well done and very clever.

belle composition originale et travail très soigné. Particulièrement la ciselure sur fond d'or ainsi que le modelé des animaux (en or blanc ou argent?)
Est-ce bien une salamandre qui entoure le chien du revolver? En quelle matière?

Je ne serai pas présent à ton examen par manque de temps, dommage.

i'm not a proper one to judge. but if i were given this gun to evaluate, i would certainly award you whatever certificate applied for. totally unique design, well executed, deep relief, numerous inlays,-- it's all there !

J'aurais été très heureux de vous rencontrer ce weekend mais nous aurons l'occasion de bavarder un jour j'espère.
Les animaux modelés sont en argent et la salamandre est rapportée par soudure puis bronzée.
