this is a leaf script "A" I've been constructing over the last day or so. On paper, A5 size it looks good, how it'll look on a metal 1 inch disc might be a different story. I've hand drawn the letter on to the disc for cutting which I'll attempt tomorrow maybe. Also enclosed is a 1" silver disc with a scroll I've engraved and shaded.

I think I see where you were heading with this, and why. When you have a fixed piece, like a 1" disc, versus a page from a sketchbook which gives you more room, you sometime have to compromise and 'squeeze' things a bit which I see. With many letters, but not all, there's no way around this. Maybe with a few scrap metal discs, and slightly different layout, it'll all come together. See what happens.

I want to further mention that I AM NOT condemning your efforts! Sometime, you're in a spot that's tough to claw your way out of. Even the most subtle of changes can make a big impact, and you've done better-than-well with the cramped space you have to work in. Good show!

Well here's the finished piece. I probably should have picked a better border. I was going to attempt a leaf border to keep the theme running through but the bevelled edge kinda scared me to be honest. I'll have to work on my photography too.
Thanks for the comments and likes.
