just an unsolicited comment/endorsement- i have two Leicas, one S6E (38° model) & one S6 (60° model for bulino) and love them. excellent clarity, field of view and working distance. for you motorcycle engravers, if you've ever wished for even more working distance, you can get a 0.32x objective lens (instead of the usual 0.5x) and 16x eyepieces and still have virtually the same magnification & field, but a full 12" of working distance under the scope. or stick with 10x oculars for a huge field diameter. the ergonomics would need worked out because the vise would end up so low, but you could work on some crazy big stuff this way.
