The new modification for the Lindsay Goliath is call the Trucenter Camlock. You can see that if you order his style #2, then assembly is required, but so are instructions provided. I don't have an engineering degree, and I found it easy to assemble. The fit of the parts is precise. Well-thought-out.
Steve called after I ordered and said I was the first one to order style #2. I have just assembled it so I don't know how much I will like the setup, but it is the nicest vise I will ever own. I intend to be using it already today for some push graving. The attachment adds several pounds to the total, and it appears to have a wide range of off-center movement, as shown in the second pic.
