Here are a couple of pics of a Colt single action I've been working on. It is still in progress but I thought you all might like to take a look! This is for a serious Colt afficianado & I was given "carte blanche" in regards to the design etc. Sometimes that's harder than when a client has a specific concept. In this case I chose western art as the theme. Remington, Russell & Frank McCarty paintings and bronzes have been the inspiration for the vignettes. The work is raised & sculpted gold, relief sculpted steel, flush gold, inlayed copper, silver & 14K rose gold. Hope to be through someday soon!!

I am planning to be at the Texas Gun Collector's fall show in San Antonio at the La Vieta Assembly Hall. I believe it's in September. It's a great show if you like vintage stuff!

Wow! I like that! As a kid in the 50's and 60's like the song goes"My Hero's have always been Cowboys". I would run home from school to watch westerns every night.
