Question: Microscope Eye Shields

Hey guys, maybe an odd question but the eye shields I got with my microscope came a little loose and I could knock them off super easy. Well the time has come that one was knocked off and nowhere to be found. (I.e cat has probably stolen) I’ve noticed styles with a side piece coming off to limit the light from your peripheral. What style do you guys prefer and do you know of any sellers that make a decent quality?

I wear eyeglasses so I have to use rubber eye cups. It seems to me it would depend on who makes the microscope or eyepieces. I had an old Olympus that I got replacement eyepieces for. I Googled it and got several sources.

In the last year I have lost 3 things in the shop. I have cleaned and sterilized the shop from top to bottom at least 4 times and they are nowhere to be found. One of them was pretty large and I don't even drink.

Was using them on my Meiji Emz-5 and recently removed them. No problem without them. They where the ones with a lip so totaly shield your eyes
