Microscope Lenses: How often and preferred instruments

I’ve been using riflescope LEUPOLD cleaners; but don’t really have a “maintenance schedule”. While others are welcome to opine, I’d really like to hear from our benevolent dictator on this one.

Assuming the user does not wear eye make-up, the best (and only necessary) maintenance schedule is to keep the dust cover on whenever the scope is not in use.

the very best way to clean any optical device: do not get the glass dirty in the first place. an oz of prevention.
