Hi,just setting up my new scope any help in focusing it?

you'll know when the focus is right.look thru it and turn the knob.

Someone with more knowledge might jump in and correct me, but I initially focus at the highest magnification, then drop to the lowest magnification and adjust the right eyepiece. I might go back and forth a few times to get the right eyepiece as clear as possible, and then I don’t intentionally touch it again. Afterwards, I do as monk says.

Never worked under a scope before there is alot for my brain to adjust but should be fun.

There is a great video on youtube on getting your microscope set up. I believe it is a video from GRS.

dont forget to keep the correct distance from the vise to the objective bottom. the lens will determine the maximun distance for hand clearance.
