It's been a long time since I've posted, but I thought this might be of interest to engravers who like to travel. I bought this 2000 Chevy Express van about 10 years ago. The original conversion was done when it was new by Sportsmobile in Austin who installed the pop-top among other things. The first thing I did was install a workbench similar to this but it was just hacked in from salvaged lumber. I finally had the time and resources to remodel it right, so me and my work partner, Timothy Grat, tore out everything down to the wood floor and started from scratch to install new carpeting, bed, cabinets and workbench. It's birch and maple veneer plywood with walnut trim. Butcher block tops.
