Good day,
Being a tool freak and loving good tools I decided to make me a nice scriber and I made the point the way SAM explained it in one of his previous posts.
I took an old Pen and removed the point from the refill and rinsed out any ink that was still in the refill I then took a piece if tungsten rod that I had and it was a perfect fit to the refill I just dent the refill with a side cuter to prevent the tip to push in to deep.
What I have now is a scriber with a retractable point to prevent any damage to the point and if I need to re sharpen I will resize the tip and pinch the refill at the new place, I can do this until the point is to short to be kept inside the refill.
Cheers
