Perhaps you know, I have two students; one of them is my youngest daughter.
She only engraved 5 practice plates, and she wanted to start engraving something that could pay her bills.
This doesn’t mean she doesn’t want to study true the classics, but she was telling me, “dad instead of those practice plates, if I engrave on an other format, at least I could wear it!”
So yes I had to think about that, but as she is the youngest of us all, I had to try taking advantage from her creative input, and so we did.

The design is mine, her next I told her to draw her own. Yes it will be mostly flowers, butterflies and dragonflies with some kind of leaves.

So who am I being her father not encouraging this kind of creativity. Yes I will help her on her way exploring what can be done.

But no matter what, I’m proud about the result and sure she will have to make more

Yes Arnaud you should be proud! Doesn't matter if it's your design a person needs to start somewhere! She is doing very well! Tell your Daughter to keep up the great work!
