I might have posted this before but here's a better picture of my very first of what is called today, bulino, warts and all!

It measures 22mm. x 27mm.

That was your first? WOW! it is obvious you where a natural artist from the beginning, is that the tool you have used for it, or is it just a pencil for scale reference, thanks for sharing Phil,

When your doing something like this for the first time, you have no experience to fall back on so it's all trial and error but you learn as you go on and it doesn't matter if you make a mess of it.:)

The next time you try you find that you can put extra dots in between the others!

I've looked at this 3 times today zoom in and out and the more I look the less will I have to live when it comes to first try. :rolleyes:

not only very nice, it's mindful, to me, of the art that was done in books long days ago. i think most refer to it as "woodcut". in any event, this is just classic "old time" artistry done in modern time.

Phil, this is very cool to to see! It is obvious from the beginning that you are an artist. Always a pleasure to see your work.
