My partner and I are just placed an order for some new gravers. Having only used the offerings from Grs and all of Lindsay's gravers, I'm excited to try something new.
Here is a link to Armeni carbide gravers.

They are not available in the states as far as I know but my partner is Armenian and was able to order some through a contact.
Are there any similar offerings available stateside? I'll post a full report once they arrive.
Oh, and it appears they are sized to fit GRS quickchange fixtures.

I wonder what the 6L and 6R profiles would be used for? http://www.carbidegravers.com/profile.htm

It is alway good to try different tools and suppliers, S C,

In the old days, shaping your own gravers from a high carbide alloy took a lot of work, if you had expensive diamond rough laps, but nowadays, most gravers can hog carbide blanks very quickly. If you are not equipped, then the high price of these gravers could be worth it.

What would be valuable, would be to compare them cutting, side by side, with, say, "C Max" round blanks at about $6.50 each from GRS, or the other carbide blanks available from Chris DeC, Steve Lindsay and others, then let us know how they compare?,

Nice to have lots of shapes available, however they are not all a necessity..you can easily get by without spending a fortune on all of them.
