I have some new castings available for those who like to collect or study them.
These were done between 1986 & 1987 & represent the style I was doing at the time. Back then I had not learned to sculpt by displacing metal, only by removing it with chisels and a flex-shaft and shaping it that way. The original nickle silver buckles (which I still have) were done as masters, intended to be reproduced in bronze which I subsequently did. To get the height, the game heads were cut out & soldered on after the buckle blanks were engraved.
When I got to fooling around making castings of the Bush buckle I realized that these were candidates for resin casting too, so here they are!
These pics are of the actual castings (not of the originals), this time shown in a silver color however, they are available in bronze too. The buckles are about 3x4 & the fish, shown in bronze & silver (originally intended as a keyring) is about 1 3/4".
As before, the buckle resin castings are $40.00 which includes shipping. The fish is $20.00 (shipping incl).
