Hello all.
I have been a jeweler for over 40 years and have done bright cutting and pave. The issue is that I have never done real hand engraving and I want to get started, so I just bought a used Dixon block and now I want to get started with the basics. What do you folks recommend for learning aids?

Thanks

Craig

the very first thing to do-after getting your pencil and fully loaded loose-leaf notebook== go thru the tips section, take notes... learn what's there. it would do no harm, only good. there's several dozen lifetimes of engraving experience here. to ignore this is a tragedy, as it's all free & at your fingertips==24/7. thanks for joining, good luck & start reading !
