This does look fun. I have an investment knife that this would look very rich on if done properly. Thanks for this thread.:)

I should add that the ribbon in the photo is 3mm high.
Glad you like it, Glenn :)

Sam,
Thank you for posting this nice tutorial, but my question is what do you use for shading is it 120 or 90 graver?

Thanks Sam
I'm going to cut 2 of them on a practice plate and then on a sterling tie bar I just made that will then hopefully be good enough to wear.

Sam, i,m going to use the cross ribbon on a hobo nickel in the near future, probably on the hat band.

Sam, Thanks for the tutorial, I've copied a few of the tutorials on your page and am going to try them as soon as I can get back out there. I love the way you put these together, I just copy and paste them into word and print'm off. Thanks again, Dwayne

This is great! I've wanted to do one of these and I'm sure the tips on shading will make all the difference in the world, at least for me... Thanks

Sam I just don't know how you do all that you do. You must use a different time system than the rest of us. Wait a minute no kids that has to be it. No thats still not enough:) I'd sure like to hear some of that Banjo and I'm probably not the only one.
Another great tutorial. Keep up the wonderful work. Your efforts will never be forgotten by many.
Mike
