Hello all;
I am trying to find some info about my latest Sid Bell piece and wondering if anyone here can shed some light on it. I tried messaging using the contact me at the SidBellOriginals website as well as an email to the address given there. Found out later that the man who ran it is in his late 70's and evidently they seem to no longer to be in business.
It is a Sterling Largemouth Bass however instead of being plain concave and marked on the back it is three dimensional and marked on the belly. Solid and two inches long. I have attached photos I have seen very few 3-D Sid Bell pieces; my only other is the Tin Can tie tack with the
bullet holes. Bought off the web and I figured it would be pewter but a knife doesn't mark it easily and a drop of bleach resulted in a dark discolored spot so likely Sterling.
I always like Sid Bells castings and I have a few others; the silver Tin Can plinking target, a large silver Haida Bear Mask pendant and a pewter turtle pendant.
