Good job. I really like the face. I think the border looks a bit too worn. I'd make an outline cut around the border . I'm no expert just a beginner. So wait to hear from some that Know what they are talking about
One thing I do see is your constant improvement.

The hat doesn't quite look right - seems more like a hat than a fire helmet. Maybe the peak is too high?

You're getting better and better with every coin we see Dave!
I'm working on my design skills - just about through with Ron's first book and I'm starting get things that look reasonably good.

I like the hat just as it is. My current Battalion Chief has a real pointy head and this looks just like him!

Agree with Monk??? Dangerous!

Well, I have to agree with Monk. I like it just as it is shown. It has more appeal to me because it shows to have a look more of a period art work instead of the newer ones we see here most often. Please don't be offended by what I have said or have not said. ALL of the art displayed at this site is wonderful inspiration to those of us that can't and wish we could!
