i usually don't use it any more for direct engraving. rather as a quick layout to be hand engraved over. i used it a lot for "quick logos" and such. stuff that would be repeated over and over again. the result was genuine hand work laid out with templates of my own creation.Hi monk. We don't have the pantograph anymore. My dad gave it away years ago. I never even got to play with it. The old engraver I mentioned runs on a software. It weights a tonne and is a part of our family lol.
But thank you for the tip. What else do you use pantograph for?
trying to layout with a panto on a gun, forget that. way easier to direct draw and use transfer techniques.
