Hi all. I am new to the engraving world and not an engraver. I recently purchased a firearm that is pretty fully engraved and have become fascinated by the amazing talent it must take to create such art. I am trying to find who might have engraved this gun. It may have been done in the late 1930's or early 40's or maybe later. If I post pictures or send them to you, is there any way to find out who may have done the work. I have looked the rifle over with a magnifying glass and cannot find a name or initial.

welcome. by all means-- send the fotos. we are blessed to have an engraver/author/historian on our member roster. if roger bleile doesn't know who did the engraving, likely nobody will. don't be shy, take a look around. you might find it quite interesting here.
