It looks handy. I'd like to see it in person and actually try it. There are a couple on the market right now. It'd be great if it was vectors but I don't think it works quite like that.

I have a similar one made by Wacom, it does save sketches both vector and bitmap, but not the type of vectors that I would like using the minimum of anchor points.
The one I have from Wacom saves the sketches on the devise that you can import using USB.
My son bought it and gave it to me to try as he didn't like it that much and neither do I

Some of my illustrator friends have the Wacom and they don't like it either.

If the vectors are point heavy, there is software that will spline (simplify) the vectors. I'm not an illustrator wizard so I don't know if it has that capability. I do have other cad software that does it fairly intuitivly.
