I rummaged through some of my old work a few days ago, and found this. I used to mill pennys and nickels for practice plates when I was getting started. Sold a lot of them as pendants, gave alot away to.

That's neat I realy like your look. Do you find that the rolling mill makes the metal harder?

Milling pennys and nickels doesnt change the hardness enough to be a problem at all.

You definitely have a unique look and style to your work. That's a good thing.
I use Penny's and nickels for practice pieces also. I run them through the rolling mill and polish them up. In 10 minutes I can have 3 or 4 plates.
