This became the "Practice Piece for an idiot". Means for me.
Mistakes that I can see:
1. Practice on type 330 Stailless Steel(Royal PITA to cut)
2. Deep relief without enough "meat" under (had to make it too shallow)
3. Deep curved and narrow pockets( PITA to cut in viscous SS)
4. Overall design does not fold into the piece, looks artificial. (practice\practice\practice)
5. Piece is not finished properely( finish is everything).
6. Too much time spent, way too much.
On a bright side. The whole piece was carved with just two cutters. Flat and 90 degree angle. Both are carbide.
